Description
The RIDGID E-5120 (Cat. No. 35855) is a 2″ NPT hand pipe tap designed for cutting or chasing National Pipe Taper threads where power tapping isn’t practical. Made in the USA from carbon steel, it features a right-hand thread form at 11-1/2 TPI, the standard 3/4″ per foot NPT taper, and clear “2-13/64” pilot drill marking on the shank for quick setup. Its hand-tap geometry and compact shank make it ideal in restricted spaces, repair work, and field service on steel, malleable iron, and rigid plastics (with appropriate technique and lubricant).
Designed for hand use only with an appropriate tap wrench. Use quality thread cutting oil, start square to the hole, and back off to break chips.
