The RIDGID 811A (P/N 97065) is the classic right-hand, self-opening Universal Die Head used on RIDGID power threading machines for fast, repeatable pipe and bolt threading. It accepts the full range of Universal “A” chaser sets so you can cut 1/8″–2″ pipe (NPT/NPTF/BSPT with correct chasers) and 1/4″–2″ bolt (UNC/UNF) threads using one head. The quick-set size selector and self-opening trip improve cycle times on production runs, while the hardened guide surfaces hold alignment for clean starts and consistent fit. This is the “hand universal” style head with on-tool cam/lever actuation—workhorse gear for plumbers, pipefitters, and MRO shops.
